【波茨坦】無憂宮

Sanssouci was a German royal palace and garden of the 18th century. Located in the northern suburbs of Potsdam, Germany, it was built by the King of Prussia, Frederick II, after the French Versailles. The name of the palace is taken from the French word "no worries". The entire palace and garden area is 90 hectares. Because it was built on a sand dune, it is also called "the palace on the sand dunes." In the middle of the main hall of the palace is a semi-spherical spherical top, and the two wings are long cone-shaped ridge buildings. The center of the hall is the round hall. Magnificent Prime Minister's Hall, the ceiling is imaginatively decorated with four walls of gold and dazzling. The interior is decorated with murals and mirrors. There are parallel arched 6 steps in front of the palace, and the sides and surroundings are set by the green jungle. There is a fountain in front of the palace, facing the porch of the main hall. The fountain is made of round petal stone carvings, surrounded by four circular flower beds of "fire", "water", "soil" and "qi". The flower beds are decorated with statues, especially the Venus and Mercury statues. Vivid. It is said that there are more than 1,000 stone statues in the entire palace with the theme of Greek mythology. On the east side of the palace there are also 124 galleries of famous paintings, most of which are famous works of Italian and Dutch painters of the Renaissance. The gallery is spacious and bright, and there are concerts every festival. There is a hexagonal pavilion in the garden, which is called “Chinese Tea Pavilion” by traditional Chinese green tube, golden column, umbrella cover and floor-standing column structure. The tables and chairs in the pavilion are completely imitation of the East style, and the Chinese style is adorned in front of the pavilion. Sanssouci is the essence of German architectural art in the 18th century, and all construction projects lasted for 50 years.
